Privacy Policy

Last updated October 12, 2026

Opal, LLC ("Opal", "we") builds websites and appointment booking software for small businesses. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address and phone number when you contact us or become a client.
Client account details, such as the mobile number a business owner enters to receive booking alerts, and their text-message preferences.
Booking information processed for our clients' customers (name, phone number, appointment details) when they book through a site we operate for that business. We handle it on the business's behalf and only to provide the service.

How we use it

To provide, support and secure our services.
To send transactional text messages you have agreed to receive, such as booking alerts to a business owner.
To respond to your questions and requests.

Text messaging

Mobile phone numbers and text-message opt-in consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share them only with the service providers needed to deliver messages (for example, our SMS carrier provider), and only for that purpose. See our SMS terms for details, including how to opt out.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our services (such as hosting, storage and message delivery) under obligations to protect it, or when required by law.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing [email protected]. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
